How Long Does a PRP Treatment Take?

Is There Any Downtime With Platelet Rich Plasma Therapy?
For most patients, PRP therapy requires minimal downtime, but the overall downtime is based on the individual and what you have done. That said, we recommend a few days of mild recovery. If you experience any discomfort after your session, consider taking some acetaminophen and applying an ice pack to the affected area.
When Will I See Results?
Your results depend on how you receive PRP therapy. For those who undergo PRP hair restoration, you may need several sessions before the new hair growth becomes visible. It does take time for the plasma to work. After your session, the healing process begins immediately. Under your skin, the platelets get right to work. As such, you will begin seeing the results of the PRP within three weeks.
For skin care, you will begin noticing smaller pores, reduced hyperpigmentation, and the softening of wrinkles and other fine lines.
